Dear Members: S.O.S.!!!

Hello dear members!
*
Do you remember the this post about the Hawaiian ladies
knitting scarves for US homeless?
*
Well, we have a problem
but I pray you´ll help me to find a solution.
The member from California -who had wrote me telling me she
would get the package with the scarves,
and give them away-
changed her mind and unsubscribed from KFH.
*
Thing is, the wonderful Hawaiian ladies knitting group have
FIFTY (50) SCARVES ready to mail to the US
and be given to homeless for Christmas.
*
I NEED A VOLUNTEER -BETTER ONE WHO LIVES IN A BIG CITY
WITH MANY HOMELESS- WILLING TO BE THE ANGEL
TO GIVE THE SCARVES ONE BY ONE...
MAYBE WITH THE HELP OF FAMILY OR FRIENDS...
*
Please e-mail me to

Hi Vik--I live just outside of Washington, D.C. and would LOVE to give the scarves to some homeless veterans, if no one else has e-mailed you yet. Do you still have mail from the Crochetville swap? If not, you can contact me on Crochetville.

Here is another idea too. They are based out of Los Angeles California.

Hello
My name is Dana Jonsgaard from Winona, MN. I founded the group "Love's Many Cloths" in 2005. We have lots of areas of needs from Cancer Institutes and nursing homes, to schools and homeless shelters.

Please check out any possibilities to help out. We all love to knit and help one another's communities.
Pat Carroll from New Jersey collects hats, scarves, mittens for the homeless in New York City. Her youngest son died suddenly and this was his legacy. Her family continues to deliver warmth to the folks that come into St. Francis Xavier Church the week before Christmas.
